Serious owners for
small businesses.
Foundry Leap is a holding company that builds and acquires businesses selling digital products in the technology sector. We invest our own capital, which lets us move quickly, keep decisions close to the work, and set our ownership horizon by what each business needs rather than by a fund's calendar.
The person you'll
actually be dealing with.
Someone handing over a business they built wants to know who is on the other side of the table. Right now, the site doesn't tell them.
This is the single most valuable block of copy on the site, for two reasons: a seller needs to trust a named human before they'll start a conversation, and search engines weight identifiable authorship heavily for anything finance-adjacent. Worth covering:
- Your name, role, and where you're based.
- What you did before Foundry Leap, especially anything that earns the right to operate someone's business.
- Why you started this — the honest version, not the mission-statement version.
- What you're personally good at, and what you'd bring to a business you acquire.
- A photo. A real one beats a logo here by a wide margin.
- A link to your LinkedIn, so a seller can verify you in one click.
If there are other people involved — partners, advisors, contractors who'd touch an acquired business — say so. If it's just you, say that too. Sellers find solo operators reassuring more often than not; what they dislike is not being able to tell.
Bought for the revenue,
not the work.
Too many micro-businesses change hands and quietly decay because the new owner wanted the revenue, not the work. We build businesses that survive a buyer's scrutiny, whether we keep them or not. Nobody frames a well-written refund policy, yet it is one of the first things a buyer asks to see.
No fund. No clock.
No forced exit.
We invest our own money, so decisions stay close to the work and each business gets held for exactly as long as it needs. There is no outside capital waiting on a return, and no lifecycle that turns a good business into a rushed sale.
A seller doing diligence on you will want to understand the entity and how a deal gets funded. Worth stating plainly:
- That Foundry Leap LLC is the acquiring entity, and where it's registered.
- How acquisitions are funded — personal capital, debt, seller financing, or some mix.
- Whether outside investors are ever involved, and if not, that you intend to keep it that way.
- What your intended holding period looks like, in plain language.
